naturopathy

Naturopathy combines science with traditional natural health therapies to investigate and address the internal and external factors that cause and perpetuate your ill-health. Its holistic approach can relieve symptoms and improve outcomes for many complaints, such as:

  1. stress, anxiety, depression

  2. indigestion, irritable bowel syndrome, constipation

  3. fatigue, headaches, insomnia

  4. withdrawal from nicotine, alcohol, recreational drugs

  5. unexplained symptoms

  6. asthma, hayfever, bronchitis

  7. HIV infection, autoimmune disease, cancer

  8. menstrual pain, irregularity, impotence, infertility

  9. urinary tract infections, thrush

  10. menopause, ageing

  11. diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol

  12. arthritis, osteoporosis

Naturopathy can be particularly valuable in maximising your well-being when living with a long-term illness.  It helps by minimising the challenges to your health while increasing positive influences, reducing any medication side-effects, and lessening your risk for developing additional health problems.

Available treatments include lifestyle adjustment, food as medicine, nutritional supplements, herbal remedies, homoeopathy and flower essences.  All treatment plans are individualised and carefully consider your existing medications, and financial and time budgets.

Initial consultations are 1 hour and standard consultations 30 minutes.  Iridology, nail and tongue analysis, physical examination, body composition, zinc tally and urinary indican testing will be included as appropriate.

Jenny believes that an individual’s peak health and their ability to respond appropriately to the challenges of life can be achieved by understanding their own physical, emotional and spiritual needs and fulfilling these with an individualised holistic approach.  Naturopathy can be a valuable component of such an approach, optimising a person’s vitality and enabling the best health possible to be achieved and maintained.

Jenny is a member of the Australian Natural Therapists Association (ANTA) and registered with major private health funds enabling rebates on consultation fees for those with suitable cover. Please check with your health fund.
