Andrea Edwards

Andrea holds a Diploma of Applied Science & Graduate Diploma in Advanced Nursing. She is an accredited Nurse Immuniser.

 

She trained as a registered nurse in Bendigo before working in all areas of hospital nursing and palliative care through Central Coast Health.

 

Andrea worked for many years as a HIV Clinical Nurse consultant, and a Partner Notification Officer with the Department of Human Services. She joined Prahran Market Clinic as Practice Nurse in 2009.

Diane Marshall-Payne

Diane joined Prahran Market Clinic in mid 2014

 

She holds a Bachelor of Nursing degree from SIT, Invercargill NZ.

 

Diane is a registered nurse with a background in district nursing, and has worked with HIV patients through The Alfred and the district nursing network.  She has previously held a position as a Clinical Nurse Educator.

 

Diane has a strong interest in wound care, particularly chronic and acute wounds and is currently completing a Nurse Immunisation Certificate.

Helen Lau

Our clinical research trials are co-ordinated by Helen Lau. Helen is a Registered Nurse, and has been the HIV Clinical Research Coordinator at Prahran Market Clinic since 2000.

 

Helen previously worked in HIV research, HIV & palliative care at St. Vincent’s Hospital, Sydney. She is committed to ethical clinical research and patient advocacy.

Claire O'Connor

Claire joined PMC in 2021. She completed her Bachelor of Nursing at Australian Catholic University, Melbourne.

 

Claire has worked in acute settings of hospitals within metropolitan Melbourne. Prior to becoming a nurse, Claire worked in the drug and alcohol sector. 

 

Claire is currently completing a Graduate Certificate of Sexual Health and a Master of Public Health, specialising in Gender and Women's Health
